The portability of the mount is handy and easy to use. The dovetail mount allows you to quickly and securely attach a wide range of commercially available tubes. It is suitable for starting the first step and experiencing amateur to severe celestial observation.
Inside the mount, the RA and dec motors are used to reduce interference and counterbalance for smaller telescopes, which cancels the need for the counterweights and shaft. It has a 27 lb payload capacity, excluding offsets, Precise azimuth adjustment indicators, and a 4.2 lb counterweight.
The STAR BOOK ONE hand controller usage is to find, help, track and observe celestial objects. A mount powers it through a connector port.
